I'm going to have to say that Knocked Up blew. I didn't have one laugh in the first 45 minutes of the movie, kept waiting for it to get better and turned it off when it didn't deliver. Seth Rogan is adorable, sure, but I don't believe for one minute that a girl as "hot" as Heigel would ever sleep with him. She wasn't THAT drunk ok? I do like the way they edited out her hail damage, too bad they couldn't edit in some kind of likable personality for her. Maybe then this movie would have not had to rest squarely on Seth's big pimpled back.

I agree with 4 out of your 5 choices. For some reason I never got into 'Bad Santa', but it could be because I have been watching the cable version with all of the explatives deleted. Maybe to capture the true essence of the movie I need to rent the DVD.

I don't usually see movies at the theaters more that one time, but 'Superbad' was the exception. I saw it 3 times, and it was funnier each time I saw it because I caught parts of the movie where I had been laughing my butt off in previous times. The first time I saw it, I didn't hear when Evan and Seth were looking at clothes, and Seth was wearing really tight jeans and they were talking about their bulge... Seth said something like "Ball-Dick-Ball" to which Evan replied, "Yeah, kinda like a division symbol".... I almost fell out of my seat.

I would probably fill that 5th spot with one of your 'alternatives' like '40 Year Old Virgin' or maybe even 'Grandma's Boy'. I guess I've enjoyed Jonah Hill's performances in his movies even when he had small roles.
